lettuce Padang
(Typical cuisine of West Sumatra, Indonesia)

salada padang


ingredients:
·         400 g Potatoes
Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced​​. After that fried
·         200 g Carrots
Carrots peeled and thinly sliced​​. After it was boiled until cooked
·         350 gr Cucumber
Cucumber cut into and remove the seeds. Thinly sliced
·         5 eggs
Boiled eggs, peeled, and take part white (reserve yolk for dressing material)
·         6 pieces of lettuce
·         1 tablespoon fried onions
·         Cooking oil
·         Crackers

sauce:
·         75 grams of potatoes then boiled
·         5 hard-boiled egg yolk
·         1 ½ tbsp fried onions, knead
·         ½ teaspoon salt
·         ½ teaspoon pepper
·         1 teaspoon sugar
·         1 tablespoon butter
·         50 ml of broth (chicken or beef can be optional)
·         1 teaspoon of vinegar

How to make:
1.     Sauce: mash the potatoes while hot. Mash until smooth with an egg yolk. Then enter the fried onions, vinegar, pepper, salt, and sugar
2.    Stir-stir while pouring melted butter and broth until well blended sauce
3.    Combine carrot, cucumber, and egg whites in a large container. Add the sauce, stirring until smooth. Enter potato chips and stir
4.    Arrange the lettuce leaf on a plate food. Place the marinated sayutan on it. Sprinkle with fried onions and crackers
5.    ready to be served
